Heavenly Earthlings We Are

Amazing to our eyes to behold is the world in which we live. This place called Earth is actually Heaven sent. We are part of the many creatures that inhabit this Earth, who lose sight of its true magnificence. Behold its wondrous colors throughout and how it revives itself after the death thereof. We, Earthlings that have been sent upon this Earth to thrive and grow have missed its simple beauty. 

Heaven sent from above we breathe the air around it, gaze at the stars above it, feed in the water and land within it and still we take so little time to appreciate it. 

Today, I give praise and glory to the Master of us all, The Creator and Sustainer of all things. Today I thank The Lord for His Heavenly gift of Earth and being a wonderful part of its splendor. I celebrate today being an Earthling created by Heaven. I will try my best to recognize all the miracles you have bestowed upon me and have Faith in your Wisdom. I am blessed to be one of your "Heavenly Earthlings".

THE YEAR 2010

Another year is upon us. The year of 2010 promises to be filled with anticipation of better things than its predecessor. The journey has been a difficult one for most. We welcomed this new year anxiously hoping that it will lead way to relief in all aspects of our life. Yes, 2010, is under a lot of pressure to succeed on so many levels, but will it live up to our expectations.

This year has come in with a fizzle for me and has left me feeling less than anxious to see what else awaits me along its destined time. I would love to believe that the days, weeks and months to come with have some kind of magic within them that will make this exhausted spirit believe that dreams can come true. Is there "Magic" in this year 2010? Though I dream that this feeling within that has me overwhelmed with all sorts of thoughts will suddenly disappear and I will be "Just Fine" as Mary J. Blige sings.

Will the year 2011 come with no "change" from 2009. Lord help us if this be true. But through the chaos of it all and anxious anticipation, I suspect this year shall be interesting to say the least. My spirit may be challenged but I welcome it. Maybe if we really cheer loudly, the year 2010 will hear our pleas for "change" and oblige us in a most positive way. Then maybe we will feel the "Magic".

TIME FOR CHANGE

Time has come and gone. Minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, and years and yet we find ourselves struggling to keep up with it. Time though is absolute unlike our lives. Time waits for no one and once the time passes, it's gone forever.

Now I look back over my lifetime and ask myself where am I going now and what am I going to do with whatever time I have left?
Time is growing shorter with each passing day. I know not how much time The Lord will grace me with to have more life experiences. But the clock is ticking, so I must not waste one precious moment of it. I must set my goals that are just mine. I must find a way to execute them expediently with no reservation. It is time for me to take charge of my life and claim it! Much deliberation has exhausted too much time.

I have no doubt of exactly what I want. So now, all I have to do, is find a way to make it happen.

I want without a shadow of a doubt to spend the rest of my life with my one true love. I want to live life with him exploring whatever the world can offer. I want to spend each waking moment in my life finding a way to bring a smile to anyone I may encounter and keep that smile in my heart always. I want to laugh and laugh from deep within. I want to share my knowledge with any who may care to listen and maybe equate my experiences with their own. I want to love with all my heart as I have been doing all my life.

Yes, it is definitely "Time For Change", and change "I W.I.L.L."

A friend once said to me, that I was coming out of my cocoon and going to be a beautiful butterfly when I finally become "me".

Dedicated to "All My Children"....Anisa, Khalila, Yusuf, Yasin & Aleenah who have encouraged me to explore my opportunities and to dare to dream of what "I" really need for "Me" reminding me that I have done my job and they are all grown now. Thank you all...I love you!

Sensual & Feeling Good

When did we forget how important it is to feed all our senses? Could it be a breath taking view that captivates our spirits as we look on revering what we behold and listen to the melodic sounds produced therein? Maybe we are more moved by the essence given off by a variety of smells that create a mood of tranquility. Whatever it is that arouses our inner euphoria, by all means don't deprive yourself of it.

Within everyday allow yourself to experience that euphoric feeling in everything that you do no matter where you may be. Lose yourself with the taste of a favorite food that caresses your mouth and wakes up your tongue with its sweet, sour, or spicy appreciation. Savor the flavor with every morsel and have your moment of feeling good. But maybe your senses are stimulated from touching something like the smooth face of someone you love. Whatever turns your senses on to get you feeling good....don't wait for tomorrow...do it today!

Be sensual in your life and love living life.

Yes I will explore, and live like never before. This road may not yet be traveled, but its point of entry is upon me, so I shall not linger more.

Yes, love is worth exploring. It's worth taking the chance and trusting yourself to see what there is to see, learn what there is to learn and feel what there is to feel. My heart has opened to extend itself to another with open arms and trusting my own feelings sufficiently to trust in them.

Lord knows that I am living on hope and having Faith that He will guide my spirit in the right direction. So for now, I live, I hope and I will explore love.

NEW HORIZONS

Calm, serene, engaging...this is what this horizon represents. The more one gazes upon the more one is totally entranced. Just like this heavenly view declaring the end of a day and the beginning of a new horizon, so do our lives enter upon new horizons.

The various stages in our lives is very much like the dawning of a new day or the setting of one completed. We can stop and reflect upon the close of one stage in our lives. We can reflect on all that it represents with no regrets of our leaps of faith. We can acknowledge that to the best of our ability we have done what we need to do and what we wanted to do and "exhale". Exhale and take in the view. Sit back and relax and feel the energy of the passing of one stage in our life to another.

A new horizon presents itself to be adored. In all its splendor, it roars with eagerness to be heard and whispers in our ears sweet sounds of passion. The glow set forth warms our spirit in a way of utter ecstacy. It keeps us close like a warm security blanket. A peaceful calm, pure and serene lulling us to close our eyes to end this day, this chapter in our lives and begin another with a "new horizon". A new horizon and a new beginning filled with new opportunities to engage ourselves yet again.

THY NEIGHBOR BE THY FRIEND

Have you ever read a newspaper or watched a story about something terrible that happened to someone that you don’t know and yet you feel somehow torn at what happened to a perfect stranger to the point where it may even bring your eyes to well up in tears? This is a very natural human response to our responsibility to all mankind. Imagine if living in your small neighborhood the only ones whose life you touch or whose life touched you were the people only that lived in your house, or on your block, or your co-worker, and/or your classmate. That would truly be a very small circle, but truly all are touched by what we do or what we say. Most things we do will have an effect on someone outside of our circle. If at work we produce a product does it not get distributed to many outside of our circle? If at school studying a particular field does that not effect change that we will be contributing outside of our circle to our field of study? If at home, do we not raise our children and teach them to respect others and go out of their circle? Do not all of these conditions affect our neighbor? Is our neighbor the person next door or across the ocean? Is Earth round and does it evolve around the sun or does it just stay put never changing always effecting the exact same outcomes day after day, year after year? No it does not stay put and it does effect change with its movements and so does mankind. All of us effect change to the world that we live in through our thoughts, actions and energy. So let’s all make our neighbor our friend. Be they next door or across the ocean, let’s make the world a better place and have thy neighbor be thy friend.
