Peace is a quiet friend who makes no announcements
It does not speak or make any sounds to alert its
presence
Instead it waits patiently to be happily discovered
Peace is something we all want to experience
Some will spend a lifetime in search of it but with no
success
Others will bask in glory and ecstasy when quest ends
Peace is not something to see on the horizon
Nor is it any unsuspecting face in a crowd we gaze
But rather the overwhelming feeling deep inside of us.
