Again, Another Year!

 Here we are again, another year. The Earth has revolved around the sun and we have done what with our lives? Can we say we've taken charge of our life or made changes in our life that have given us better results than the year before. I know despite all the challenges thrown at us this past year, I feel very blessed to be still here to forge ahead towards the next quest and face the challenges head on. I feel triumphant and elated with tomorrow's prospects. I cannot wait to see what new quest I will venture upon. I live in hope, love and faith of what tomorrow will bring. Remember as long as we have life, we have hope! Live your life and be happy!

MOVING ON

 The idea of moving on for a lot of people is a little scary. Moving on into an area of the unknown may pose a sense of uncertainty, unpredictable and thereof unmanageable events.

Most of us dream of the possibilities of going further, doing something else, changing a routine or just moving on to a new adventure filled with excitement, curiosity and expectations. 

What have you done to prepare for the new adventure you are about to embark upon or are you just moving on taking it one step at a time? Whatever you decide, you must take into consideration of what would give you a sense of peace, joy and hope. Be brave and go forward if you truly hope to pursue your dreams.

A NEW DAY

Every day is even more amazing than the day before

Why, because we opened our eyes for a new day

Amidst all the uncertainties and challenges we’re faced with each new day,

The one thing we have is Hope,

Hope to breathe,

Hope to smile,

Hope to laugh,

Hope to live another day.

These times are difficult to swallow the reality of so many dying from Hatred and Illness of

disease of heart, spirit, and body.

We cry out in pain to lose yet another.

But we MUST not give way to Despair or live in Fear,

We MUST continue to look forward to a new day!

Unconditional Love

 Life is extremely complicated. There is no real playbook any of us can follow and get an absolute result that we want, but we can absolutely HOPE that if we LOVE with all of our very being unconditionally, we will receive some of it back.
Sometimes the ones closest to us have been through such traumas we have little to no knowledge of, but we know they have barely survived it. Bitter as they may be with their life and the cruel unjust way it may have turned out, the best we can do for them is to love them unconditionally. Love them through their pain regardless to whether we know what it is they've been through or understand it. We need not compare it to our own life or even try to walk in their shoes, but to just love without judgments or reservations. Kill them with LOVE!!!!
It will probably be the best gift we can possibly give and one they desperately needed. JUST LOVE UNCONDITIONALLY!!!

Believe vs Faith

Believe or have Faith which one?
If you Believe, does that automatically mean you have Faith? 
If you have Faith, does that automatically mean you Believe?
People believe a lot of different things from their daily activities to their spiritual beliefs. How many people have you know including yourself have questioned what you believe from time to time and go back and forth on different concepts until you feel confident on that belief system. Here you have no Faith in what you believe or you wouldn't question it.
Now when you have Faith in something or someone, you don't question it! With Faith, you Believe too! If you have Faith in your partner that they wouldn't do something to hurt you, you Believe that and don't question it. You Believe without doubt! Your Faith is resolve in that Belief!
So I would rather say I have Faith in something than to just Believe.

SIGNS

All throughout our lives we see and are surrounded by all kind of signs. Some we very carefully follow, but others we virtually ignore. We often choose to ignore the signs though they may be right in front of us, the ones we cannot reach out and touch, but clearly are there. Why do we choose to ignore them? Does their importance mean less to us than those more tangible?
Signs appear to us in many forms. There are the ones that come to us in a dream. There are those that are heard through someone we know or even a stranger. Then there are those that appear to us in a series of signs visual, verbal or audible. They will appear one after an another in an attempt to make us acutely aware of their presence. So then, why do we ignore them? 
Is it because we are afraid of the direction it may take us, lead us on another path not yet traveled?
Would it not be more exciting to explore the possibilities presented by choosing to follow the signs? Most times life is not simple as black and white. Most times life is complex and entangled in a manner we would have never imagined for ourselves, but we survive! Wouldn't life be richer and fuller if we entertained doing and being more than just surviving? 
Take a deep breath, take a few and relax and allow yourself to see and be guided to a new horizon, a new truth! Follow the signs, then have FAITH they are part of your Divine guidance!
Believe in the signs!

MOVING FORWARD

I refuse to let the past hold me back.
I refuse to let yesterday to be the final act.
I choose to move forward with love
I choose to move forward in faith from above.

I have learned to live and smile each day.
I have learned to live a whole new way.
Moving forward expresses the new me.
Moving forward is the only way to be. 

An Old Dream Renewed

Life from childhood took a lot of twist and turns. From childhood fairy tales to adult dreams and happily ever after.

Childhood did not teach me romanticism, but somehow it always was a part of my being. Star gazed with big dreams of tomorrows and all I hoped them to be, I find myself spiraling down a seemingly never-ending tunnel.

Finally the spiraling ends and a new direction emerge. There ahead is light of the path that I now walk upon. Now it weaves in and out and almost seems like you’re going in circles, but finally a point of rest. I gaze above to see the stars and the evening sun, lights my space. I breathe to feel within and dare to dream again. The warmth within, fills my heart in great anticipation. All dreams had ceased to exist, but now they grow with nurturing love.

I find myself revisiting an old dream thought to be forever lost. But now, here and now, today is a brand new day, one of renewing a dream which was no longer. I must only now claim my renewed dream in all its splendor.

Reflections

In a moment of silence, I pause and recollect, all the aspects of my life

I close my eyes as I reflect upon things that brought me pain

A frown came upon my face as I continued to reflect

Then choosing not to stay so quite severe, I reflect upon what made me

proud.

Suddenly, that frown is gone to find a smile that fills me up with joy

I continue to reflect to how I came to be where I am now

But once again that frown crept in and stole my smile, and filled my heart

with sadness.

Then I reflect, how hard it was for me to overcome, so many obstacles

And here came that smile again out from its hiding place

Filling me with enormous gratification for having survived.

The ups, the downs, the ins, the outs, of what life threw at me

It was as if, this was a blueprint of my soul in the mortal sense.

The reflections did mirror my soul, and give a promise of hope for

tomorrow.

I continued to smile as my reflections run my frown away.

The Pursuit of Happiness

I have seen a lot of post that talk about your children, love, faith, pain and trials and tribulations. I only want to say that Lord knows that I have had my share and beyond. There were times I thought I would never survive the pain and suffering, but there was always one constant in my life besides The Almighty, it was the SMILE upon my children's faces, the twinkle in their innocent eyes that beckoned me at my weakest points. They lifted me when hope was gone and pain prevailed. The Creator, Supreme Being, Lord Almighty, knew what he was doing when he made women mothers. He gave us the direct line to HIM! Without that I would certainly not be here telling you this, I would have drowned in my sorrow because I had no one to love me unconditionally, my children! I am here because I am a MOTHER who has made her share of mistakes because after all there is NO play book that outlines exactly what to do at each juncture of their lives. It is a guessing game molded by a lot of things mostly present circumstances and surroundings, and experiences. None of us are perfect and the Lord, Almighty knows and understands that, as he has created us. Therefore, we must NOT be too hard on ourselves when we get it wrong, make a mistake or just screw up, but try to do better with other opportunities given to us such as with our grandchildren. With our grandchildren, we have experienced almost everything from our own, so we are better equipped to share the VERY BEST! That is the cycle that continues how the LOVE CIRCLE keeps growing getting bigger and bigger and knowing no bounds, only LOVE!!!
To all of you out there, being a mother is my greatest achievement, 1st only to be a grandmother. All praises due unto The Lord for allowing me the opportunity! Without that initial LOVE, I would have ceased to exist. That LOVE gave me strength to survive if only for my children even when the pain was unbearable. I gained strength from The Lord through the gifts/blessings he gave me, my children. Now I am able to continue my pursuit of happiness and I have found it in my grandchildren, my children and my new life that The Lord has blessed me. Thank you!

Hidden behind every door is a blessing

Around every corner is a blessing

At every crossroad we choose our blessing

We go about our lives struggling to make sense

The everyday occurrences of

Getting up..........washing up

Getting dressed...........doing our hair

Walking............talking..........thinking............breathing

In and of themselves, they are each a blessing

Sometimes the path we’re on, chosen or forced upon

We struggle through

Pain............anger...........rage

And then hopelessness

Surrounded by absolute darkness

There is always light

The choice is ours; it’s called “Free Will”

A blessing in itself

To fight.........be strong.........to rise above

To see beyond the trees

To learn..............to grow

Teach others what we’ve come to know

Use our struggle..........pain...............and agony

To turn things all around

Reap the blessings of your survival

Then be blessed for doing so.

LIVING FOR TODAY

Living for today is not always the easiest thing, but it is the best thing to be happy. Leave the worry and stress where it comes in and park it there. Do not carry it or drag it around with you. Today is what you have and live it! Tomorrow is NOT promised to any of us.  We cannot live in fear of what tomorrow might bring. We can be hopeful of the possibilities that may present themselves. How exciting is that?
Today if it's raining, smile and grab your umbrella. If you get stuck training to dodge the raindrops, just consider "singing in the rain" and have a great laugh! It works wonders for the spirit. Laugh out loud often! Then remember to always keep a smile in your heart and on your face.

Never Too Old To Learn



One never thinks that after years of schooling, you would discover that you really are not well learned at all. In fact, you might surprise yourself to know you "don't know jack". It really is quite shocking to discover that everything you thought you knew and understood is all quite distorted to say the least especially if it has anything to do with our knowledge and understanding about our family or dear friends.

Maybe we can benefit to learn best by constantly changing our prospective or vantage point allowing us to gain a better prospective on the reality from each vantage point because there are so many. The truth is that each vantage point holds its on reality and it is its truth, not ours!

I know without a shadow of a doubt, I have been shocked, pleasantly surprised and down right dumb-founded as to what may have seemed obviously clear. Wonder if that just has to do with aging or maybe we just lose faith in the natural coarse of things. But regardless your point of view, you are never too old to learn. In fact, as long as we live, there is hope and with that we are always learning.
